Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Faculty and staff will need to use the Fresno State Virtual Private Network (VPN) to securely access their campus workstation, shared folders, local databases or other campus servers when outside the campus network.
Fresno State's VPN creates a safe and encrypted connection that allows employees to safely send information back and forth from the campus and their remote location. Depending on the speed of your remote location, some activities may be slower than when you are physically on campus.

Zoom Info
To access the Zoom platform login using your Fresno State username and password at fresnostate.zoom.us.
Fresno State uses Zoom for video and web conferencing; available to all students, faculty, and staff. Zoom allows for video, audio, and screen sharing between up to 200 participants. It can be used from any computer, laptop, tablet, or phone, and it works on PC, Mac, Android and iOS devices. Zoom also works with rooms equipped for video conferencing such as Polycom, etc. Any Fresno State user can initiate a video or audio meeting, allowing Zoom to be used for any online meeting, whether between two or many people. Anyone in the world can join a Zoom meeting, but only a host can start/schedule meetings.
