Broadening concepts, Strengthening Communities, and Empowering People.
At the Cross Cultural and Gender Center, we are committed to ideals of diversity, equality, social justice, and acceptance of self.
We look forward to bringing exciting programming and in-demand services to Fresno State.
Our constituency work is not limited to the groups listed to the left. We are here to assist you in developing and executing your ideas about sharing the rich history of your cultural, gender, and sexual identity groups.
Our goal is to bring groups together in collaboration, as well educate our campus and community about individual groups.
The Cross Cultural and Gender Center host a meditation room inside the Thomas Building Room 110. This room can be used at any time for prayer and expression of milk.
Brought Your Own Lunch?
The CCGC has a microwave in Thomas Room 110 that can be used to heat up your food from home. Although there are microwaves in the food court, you are welcome to use this microwave should it be more convenient to your location on campus!
Need a Boost?
The CCGC also has a Keurig and coffee pods that can be used for coffee. This is free of charge to students, however, tips to support our coffee fund are appreciated.
Peers Supporting Peers
Need a helping hand? We have a group of trained student peers that can support you by actively listening to your concerns. Although our students are not counselors, they can point you in the right direction to get you the help that you need!
