Teaches introduction to horticulture classes and is one of the area's most knowledgeable in the field. Served as chairman of the California Certified Nursery Certification Professional Board. He was the former Dept. Chair of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Reedley College. Served as President of the State Center Community College District Board of Trustees and Council Member of the City of Reedley. He was also the former owner of a full-service retail garden center and registered landscape contractor.
