Meet the Officers

Roger Isom, President

Roger graduated from Fresno State with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.  He is president/CEO of the California Cotton Ginners and Growers Association as well as Western Agricultural Processors Association.  He is the president of the Board of Directors of the Ag Energy Consumers Association, and past chairman of the Citizens Advisory Group of Industry and the Agricultural President’s Council.  Roger is also a member of the Air and Waste Management Association, American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, and the National Fire Protection Association.

Nick Biscay, Vice President

Nick graduated from Fresno State in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. He joined Stanislaus Farm Supply in May 2010 as Executive Vice President and became the president and CEO in March 2015. Nick followed Sam Bettencourt’s 37 years at the helm. He also oversees Biscay Vineyards, his family farming business located in California since 1917. Prior to Stanislaus Farm Supply, he was a division sales manager for John Deere. Nick is the board chairman of the Western Plan Health Association. He is passionate about people, leadership and business, especially agriculture.

Fendley Ragland, Treasure

Fendley grew up on a beef cattle farm in north Arkansas.  He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s and master’s in agricultural economics.  Following graduation, he was an instructor in the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Department at the University of Arkansas.  In 2014, he joined PGIM Real Estate Agricultural Investments in Memphis, Tennessee and has worked for the Fresno location since 2016. Fendley is actively involved in the community in organizations such as Ag One BBQ committee, California Citrus Mutual and as a co-advisor for the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity at Fresno State.

Jason Baldwin, Secretary

Jason graduated from Fresno State in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education from the Jordan College.  While he did not grow up in agriculture, growing up in Madera and then attending Fresno State exposed him to technology, animal and plant sciences as well as economics.  After graduation, he worked for Logoluso Farms as a safety director which led to a position at Nisei Farmers League as a grower relations representative.  In 2000, Jason went to work for the Madera County Farm Bureau as the Executive Director.  He was recruited by Panoche Creek Packing as their Chief Operating Officer where he is today.

Stanley Kjar, Jr., Past President

Raised on a farm in Kingsburg, Stanley graduated from Fresno State in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business.  He is currently a Senior Vice President at Pearson Realty, with offices in Fresno, Visalia and Bakersfield.  Prior to Pearson, he served as the Vice President and Operations Manager for Kings Equipment Company, Inc., his family-owned farm equipment business.  The family business was sold in late 2009, and shortly thereafter Stanley decided to obtain his real estate broker’s license and join Pearson Realty.  He specializes in the representation of buyers and sellers of farm real estate and agri-business organizations.  Stanley is a strong advocate for agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley.   He is a member of Class 45 of the California Agricultural Leadership Program, and volunteers regularly at fundraising events for the program.
