Brandon Chamberlain

Brandon grew up in Aptos. He attended Fresno State for two years before returning home and graduating Cum Laude from San Jose State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He is a Vice President, Credit Division Manager for Bank of the West specializing in the Food and Agribusiness sector in the Central Valley. Brandon is dedicated to Valley agriculture and has completed the Agriculture Lending Institute at Fresno State. He is currently part of the Fresno County Farm Bureau’s FAACT Class XIV. He volunteered and coordinated a team of volunteers at the 2016 Ag Boosters BBQ.


Scott Foth

Scott grew up in Kerman on his family’s farm. He attended Fresno City College for one year and then went to Tabor College in Kansas to play football. He returned to California, graduating from Fresno State with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education in 1978. Scott went into farm management and agricultural chemical retail sales. In 1984, he went to work for Borba Farms as an Agronomist and in-house PCA and stayed there for 15 years. He then joined Britz Fertilizer in 1999 and is currently the District Manager for Simplot out of Five Points. He also grows almonds and mandarins in Kerman.


Stanley Kjar, Jr.

Raised on a farm in Kingsburg, Stanley graduated from Fresno State in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. He is currently a Senior Vice President at Pearson Realty, with offices in Fresno, Visalia and Bakersfield. Prior to Pearson, he served as the Vice President and Operations Manager for Kings Equipment Company, Inc., his family-owned farm equipment business. The family business was sold in late 2009, and shortly thereafter Stanley decided to obtain his real estate broker’s license and join Pearson Realty. He specializes in the representation of buyers and sellers of farm real estate and agribusiness organizations. Stanley is a strong advocate for agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley. He is a member of Class 45 of the California Agricultural Leadership Program, and volunteers regularly at fundraising events for the program.


Ronald Samuel

Ron attended Los Banos High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business from Fresno State in 1976. Following graduation he launched a 24-year career at Pacific West Produce with various responsibilities from transportation to citrus sales. Ron is currently a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. and has been in the financial services industry for over 15 years. He is a member of the Luncheon Club of Fresno, Fresno Estate Planning Council and Fig Garden Rotary. Ron is a big proponent of giving back to the community, volunteering with Pinedale and Fresno County Boys & Girls Club, Make-A- Wish Foundation, River Park Rotary and Fresno City/County All-Star Football Committee. He is also an active member of the West Side Luncheon and Ag Boosters BBQ committees.


Mai Zoua Vang

Mai graduated from Fresno State in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. As a student, she was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants for four years and held a leadership position for two years within the organization. She is an active member of the Common Threads committee. She is bilingual in Hmong and English and is a Certified Notary Public. She started with Valley Small Business Development Corporation in June 2010 as a Loan Analyst and is currently the Accounting Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer.
