Setting Up An Eduroam Wireless Connection by device

Android Device

  1. Click on the Settings app.
  2. Click on Wi-Fi.
  3. Select Eduroam.
  4. Select Connect to Network.
  5. Select TTLS for the EAP Method.
  6. Select PAP for the Phase 2 Authentication.
  7. Enter your full email address in the Identity field. Enter username@mail.fresnostate.edu.
  8. Enter your email password in the Password field.
  9. Click on Save.
  10. You will get a confirmation screen showing that you are connected to Eduroam.

iPad or iPhone

  1. Click on Settings.
  2. Click on Wi-Fi.
  3. Select Bulldogs.
  4. Open the Safari browser.
  5. Select "If you need to configure your device for Eduroam - Click here.". If you are not redirected to the appropriate site, click on the direct install link: https://cloud.securew2.com/public/78509/eduroam/
  6. Enter your full email address. The domain will end with @mail.fresnostate.edu.
  7. Make sure your iOS is selected, then click on JoinNow.
  8. Click on Install when you are prompted to install the new profile.
  9. Enter your mobile device password and click on Install.
  10. Enter your email password and click on Next, then Done.
  11. You will get a window with instructions to select the Eduroam wi-fi network from the Settings app.
  12. The small check mark next to Eduroam indicates that you are connected.

Mac 10

  1. Click on the Airport button and select Bulldogs.
  2. Open a browser (you will be re-directed to a portal page).
  3. Select “if you need to configure your device for eduroam - Click Here."
  4. You can also skip steps 1 - 3 and go to the following link:https://cloud.securew2.com/public/78509/eduroam/
  5. Click button for "Configure Profile Only (configure only)".
  6. Enter your full email address and then click Join Now button.
  7. Click Continue to install California State University eduroam MobileConfig on your Mac.
  8. Enter your Fresno State email password on the prompt to "Enter settings for the enterprise network "eduroam" then click install.
  9. Enter your computer admin login when prompted then click OK.
  10. The profile will get created, just close the window.
  11. Click on the Airport button, select eduroam.

Windows 7

  1. Click on the network icon and select Bulldogs.
  2. Click on Connect.
  3. Open a browser. Select "if you need to configure your device for Eduroam - click here."
  4. If you are not redirected, you can use the direct link: https://cloud.securew2.com/public/78509/eduroam/
  5. Make sure your operating system is selected. Select Manual launch and click on JoinNow.
  6. Click on Save File.
  7. Go to your downloads folder (or to the alternate location selected). Double click on the executable file "WiFi_California_State_University_Fresno_Wrapper".
  8. Click on Run.
  9. Enter your full Fresno State email address as your username and your email password.
  10. Click on Next.
  11. Click Done once the installation is complete.

Windows 8

  1. Click on the network icon and select Bulldogs from your Wi-Fi connections and click on Connect.
  2. Open a browser and you will be redirected to a portal login page.
  3. Select "if you need to configure your device for 'eduroam' click here". If the link is not working, click this link:https://cloud.securew2.com/public/78509/eduroam/
  4. Select your operating system.
  5. Click on JoinNow and the application will start downloading.
  6. Click on Run to install the application. The application name isWiFi_California_State_University_Fresnos_Wrapper.exe.
  7. Click on Don't Run on the Windows SmartScreen window.
  8. Enter your full Fresno State email address as the username and corresponding password.
  9. Click on Next.
  10. Click on Done.

Windows 10

  1. Click on the network icon and select Bulldogs from your Wi-Fi connections and click on Connect.
  2. Open a browser and you will be redirected to a portal login page.
  3. Select "if you need to configure your device for 'eduroam' click here". If the link is not working, click this link:https://cloud.securew2.com/public/78509/eduroam/
  4. Select your operating system.
  5. Click on JoinNow and the application will start downloading.
  6. Click on Run to install the application. The application name isWiFi_California_State_University_Fresnos_Wrapper.exe.
  7. Click Run on the Windows Security Warning prompt.
  8. Enter your full Fresno State email address as the username and corresponding password.
  9. Click on Next.
  10. Click on Done.

Windows 10 (tablet OS)

  1. Click on the network icon and select Bulldogs.
  2. Click on Connect.
  3. Open a browser. Select "if you need to configure your device for Eduroam - click here."
  4. If you are not redirected, you can use the direct link: https://cloud.securew2.com/public/78509/eduroam/
  5. Make sure your operating system is selected. Click on JoinNow.
  6. The application will start downloading.
  7. Go to your downloads folder (or to the alternate location selected). Double click on the executable file "WiFi_California_State_University_Fresno_Wrapper".
  8. Click on Run.
  9. Click Yes to allow the app SecureW2 Join Now to make changes on your PC.
  10. Click on the SecureW2 Join Now icon on the bottom tray.
  11. Enter your full Fresno State email address and password.
  12. Click on Next to send your credentials. 13.Click on Done to complete the process
