Message from the Department Chair

Thank you for your interest in the Construction Management program at Fresno State. As you may know, our degree program produces some of the best professional construction managers in California. Many of the largest construction companies, inside and outside of the Central Valley, aggressively recruit our graduates every year. This is one of the reasons that most of our graduates receive multiple job offers with great starting salaries (nearly $70,000 per year) before they graduate from our program.

I also have some exciting announcements to share with you. First, we are now offering a major in Architectural Studies. This provides students the opportunity to pursue a degree program for those that desire a career in architecture. Second, we are planning to offer a Master's of Science in Construction Management in the near future for students wanting to prepare themselves for leadership roles in construction organizations. Finally, we recently opened our new Digital Building and Integration Lab (DBIL) which focuses on integrating augmented, virtual, and mixed reality technologies into the building and construction projects. We hope you are just as excited as we are about these new developments.

Again, thank you for taking time to learn more about our program. I encourage you to take a look at our programs page for more information on particular coursework and expectations we have for our students. I hope that we can help you achieve your goals.

Be Bold and Go Dogs!
