Minor in Statistics

Why a Minor in Statistics?

From medical studies to research experiments, from polling organizations to everyday life, data are being collected everywhere and all the time. Statistics is the science and, arguably, also the art of learning from data. Knowledge in statistics provides you with the necessary tools and conceptual foundations in quantitative reasoning to extract information intelligently from this sea of data. We invite you to explore the beauty of statistics with us! Our department is an exciting, friendly, and supportive environment where you can find a strong sense of community among our faculty and students.
