  About the Bee         Previous Events  

The Integration Bee is like a spelling bee, except instead of spelling words, competitors complete integrals.  Competition is open to middle school, high school, community college, and undergraduate students who are enrolled at a Central Valley school (or homeschool).

The 2024 Central Valley Integration Bee will be held Saturday, May 4 at 2pm in Science 2, room 109.  Competitors must arrive no later than 1:30pm.  Registration is now open!  Please fill out the following form no later than Wednesday, May 1 at 5pm:

Photos will be taken during the competition and may be used on the Math Department Integration Bee web pages.

Congratulations!

The third Central Valley Integration Bee, held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, featured 29 students competitors from Fresno State and from four different local high schools (Clovis North, Clovis East, Orosi, and University HS).  For the first time in competition history, a middle school student (Granite Ridge IS) competed. The event was very competitive, lasting four regular rounds and four semifinal rounds and culminating in a championship round.

  • Second Place: Michelle Nogin (Clovis North High School)
  • Third Place:  Katherine Nogin (Clovis North High School)
  • Honorable Mention: Chen Lin (Granite Ridge Intermediate School)
