Applications for Fall 2024 is October 1, 2023 to June 1, 2024, for the Fresno State Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Approved from the California State University, Office of the Chancellor. The Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the Califronia State University, Fresno is accrediated by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

APPLICATION CYCLE October 1, 2023 - June 1, 2024	Applications are considered on a rolling basis as they are received. Once the cohort is filled, applicants are placed on a waiting list. Early submission is encouraged. Zoom interviews are by invitation only to qualified applicants. Official Transcripts from all institutions attended are required. Please send in sealed envelopes to: California State University, Fresno Attn: Graduate Admissions Office 5150 N Maple M/S JA57 Fresno, CA 93740-8026 Electronic transcripts generated by issuing institution, please send to: imaging@csufresno.edu Note: Official transcripts often take time to be sent from the original institution. If the last college or university you attended is California State University, Fresno, your transcripts will be generated by the university upon receipt of your application.
October 15, 2023 - July 31, 2024	Interviews will be scheduled upon receipt of application. You will be contacted for an interview by the DNP Program.
June 1, 2024	Application Deadline Application MUST be received by June 1, 2024
June 10, 2024	Document Deadline Application fees and transcripts must be postmarked by this date Incomplete applications will not be reviewed
August 19, 2024	Start Fall semester Intensives Dates: TBD in August 2024

Fall 2024 Application Instructions for Prospective Students

STEP 1: Apply to the University via Cal State Apply before June 1, 2024

Apply online at Cal State Apply
Click the link to the website: www.calstate.edu/apply

You will need to do the following:
1. Create an account if you do not already have one. Apply as a Graduate and select a graduate option.

2. In the Add Program tab, select Fresno State as the campus

3. Under the Fresno Graduate section, add Nursing Doctorate as the program name

4. Select the My Application tab and begin entering your information

Each section must be completed before you may submit your application.

There is a non-refundable application fee of $70 for this application to the university.

STEP 2: Create your Fresno State Email account

After your application has been submitted, you will receive a letter of acknowledgment from the university with instructions for setting up a Fresno State student account and access to the Student Portal on My Fresno State. It is your responsibility to create your student email account.
