Registration Information

Students may register for classes through Continuing and Global Education online, in person or by mail.

Preregistration is strongly recommended to assure you a place in the class of your choice. It is required for many classes.

  • To register online, please click here for instructions.
  • To register in person, please come into our office. We are located in the Education bldg., room 130. Payment will be made at the Joyal building, Cashier's Windows
  • To register by mail, please click here for the registration form. Complete the form and mail it along with a check/money order to:

Please note:  You must pay online or in person within 24 hours of registration or you will be automatically disenrolled. (Payment accepted online: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Echeck)

Fees for Extension courses are set by the Board of Trustees of the California State University. For Summer Session fees, click here and Intersession fees, click here.

For regular Extension credit courses (5 or more class meetings)

  • Registration is allowed through the first day of class
  • You are expected to attend all class meetings
  • Registration is not allowed after the first day of class unless permission is obtained from the instructor. If the instructor approves it, notification would have to be sent to Continuing & Global Education, the student must complete and submit a registration form to the Continuing & Global Education office (Education bldg.., room 130) and payment must be made immediately.

For short Extension credit courses (4 or less class meetings)

  • Registration is allowed through the first day of class
  • You are expected to attend all class meetings
  • Registration is not allowed after the first day of class unless permission is obtained from the instructor. If the instructor approves it, notification would have to be sent to Continuing & Global Education, the student must complete and submit a registration form to the Continuing & Global Education office (Education bldg.., room 130) and payment must be made immediately.

For non-credit courses

Registration Procedures for Veterans

Veterans who are attending school and wish to use their Montgomery GI Bill should first contact the Veterans Office in Room 121 of the Joyal Administration Building. You may also contact them at 559.278.7030.
