Postby tinab » Mon Oct 22, 2012 10:33 am

Spring 2013 Early Registration begins on Monday, November 5.

Registration Appointment date/times are scheduled as follows:

Monday, November 5: Priority Groups and Graduate Students
Tuesday, November 6: Seniors
Wednesday, November 7: Juniors
Thursday, November 8: Sophomores
Friday, November 9: Freshmen

Students can access their Student Center to view their assigned registration appointment date/time. They also can begin planning their spring class schedule by using the Class Wish List feature!

Here are a few reminders:

1. When a student attempts to register for a class for the third repeat, he/she will be blocked! Students who need to repeat a course for the third time, will be required to obtain approval from their major advisor and the major department chair before they will be allowed to register for the course. If the third attempt is approved, the "Third Attempt Approval Form" must be signed and submitted to the Admissions and Records Office service windows. After the exception is updated on the student's record, the student will be able to register for the course using regular add procedures on the web. The form can be accessed on the Admissions and Records website at http://www.csufresno.edu/are under "Forms" or at the Admissions and Records service windows.

2. During the Early Registration cycle (November 5 - December 12), all undergraduate students will be limited to 16 units, including Wait List units. Masters and Doctoral students enrollment limits are set to 16 units. Post-baccalaureate Credential students enrollment limits are set to 20 units, to accommodate the credential block of courses in the program.

3. Open Registration begins on Thursday, December 13. Beginning with this date, enrollment limits will be reset only for certain exception populations according to the same guidelines we followed for fall. More specific details regarding enrollment limits and excess units will be shared as we get closer to the Open Registration cycle.

3. We have computers available in the lobby of Admissions and Records, Joyal Administration building, for students who need assistance with their registration.

Please feel free to contact our office at 278-2261, if you have any questions.

Thank you.
