REFLECTIONS FROM THE PRESIDENT

July 23-29, 2012

This week has provided some time for reflection and also time to prepare for the opening of the fall semester. The summer is certainly flying by!

News arrived this week that one of our Masters of Fine Art students, Jeffery Gleaves, has been hired as an editorial intern for the prestigious Harper's magazine. This is another great recognition for our MFA program and a tribute to our faculty.

Congratulations to Dean Andrew Hoff who appears on the MPHProgramsList.com of “100 Awesome Deans of Public Health.” His ranking at number 55 is a great tribute to his leadership and work over the years in our Master of Public Health program.

Congratulations to Dr. Andrew Fiala and the Ethics Center for receiving the Spirit of Abraham Award by the Islamic Culture Center of Fresno. This is a great honor.
