Thank you for the article (Feb. 12) written regarding Turkish historian Umit Kurt and his lecture at Fresno State. Mr. Kurt brings an interesting prospective; he is a Turkish historian who learned of the Armenian presence in Turkey when he noticed writing on a wall in an old building.

Antonin Scalias presence in court was powerful and influential. He also inspired many lawyers, including several here in the Central Valley. Gordon Park, Fresno State criminology professor and local attorney for McCormick Barstow, helped organize a mock trial for some students at the school on Saturday. We were shocked, word spread through all.
