Fresno State Missing Lots of Trees

It's an area on the Fresno State campus known for its beautiful trees, but in the last couple of days some of those trees have been cut down and Fresno State officials say it's all for a good reason.

Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing hosts, Gary Young, is the creative writing instructor and directs the Cowell Press at University of California, Santa Cruz.

California State University, Fresno, is already working with Columbia College on the water training program. Officials say they are also seeking to build ties with the University of California, Davis, California State University, Stanislaus and California State University, Sacramento.

Fresno State student injured, home damaged, in Fresno kitchen fire

Four Fresno State Students are sleeping somewhere else, after a fire sparked inside their home. The fire started inside a house on Barton, north of Gettysburg in Northeast Fresno. Officials say one of the students was cooking and started a grease fire. When he tried to move the fire, he burned his hand.
