The inaugural Fresno State Talks is a student-led lecture series featuring outstanding faculty and alumni who exemplify the University's commitments to...

Discovery: Striving to discover new knowledge, encouraging discovery and growth of students.

Diversity: Demonstrates a commitment to inclusiveness and provides hope and inspiration.

Distinction: Outstanding teaching, scholarship, and research that has brought distinction to his/her discipline
and the University as well as impacted students.

The selected faculty members and alumnus/alumna will each deliver a 50 minute lecture on a topic of expertise, interest, or experience as it relates to one of the University commitments.

Lectures will occur in February & March 2013 and are open to the University and Fresno communities.
