Wednesday, January 31, 2 pm. Tu B'Shevat tree planting, followed by refreshments. Lawn west of Social Sciences building. Tu B'Shevat is the annual Jewish New Year of the Trees.


Thursday, April 12, 5-6:15 pm. Library Room 2206. Steven J. Ross (History, USC) will be speaking about his new book. Hitler in Los Angeles: How Jews Foiled Nazi Plots Against Hollywood and America. "The chilling, little-known story of the rise of Nazism in Los Angeles, and the Jewish leaders and spies they recruited who stopped it." Steve Ross is an award-winning historian who was the first in his family to attend college. He is also the director of USC's Casden Institute for the Study of the Jewish Role in American Life.
