Add Donating Blood to Your Back to School List!

The first blood drive of the fall semester will kick off Tuesday, September 12 at the Residence Dining Hall from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The blood drive and bone marrow registration will continue on Wednesday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Maple Mall & USU and Thursday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the USU.

Donors will receive a by one, get one free ticket voucher for The Big Fresno Fair and a a voucher for a free Pint for Pint Basking Robbins ice-cream! Plus, you get the satisfaction of knowing your donation helps directly save lives!

Blood donation takes less than one hour to complete and can save up to three lives. Donors must be in good general health, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be at least 18 years of age. (16 and 17 years old must have written parental consent). Senior citizens are encouraged to donate, as there is no upper age limit. Donors should eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours prior to their donation. Photo ID is required at donor registration.
