As part of the annual Holiday Gift Project, the Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning is calling upon the generosity of the Fresno State community to give to Camp Kesem at Fresno State. Camp Kesem at Fresno State provides a summer camp experience to children who have been affected by a parent’s cancer. Camp Kesem is a national organization focused on providing kids affected by a parent’s cancer with a free weeklong camp. They also provide support to the kids through and beyond their parent’s cancer treatment. Fresno State is very proud to be the first school in the CSU system to have been approved for a chapter.

All financial donations will be used to send children to camp where they can connect with other kids who have gone through the same experiences they have. It costs $1,000 per camper, so your donation is greatly appreciated. All donations are tax-deductible and receipts will be provided. Donations must be received by December 5, 2016 to be used for this project. Please send donations to Mail Stop TA 120, to the attention of Taylan Bennett.
