Enology Viticulture Seminar Series on August 31

Dear Campus Community,

The Fall 2016 Enology-Viticulture Seminar Series is pleased to present guest speaker and director of winemaking Jordan Ferrier from Mission Bell Winery in Madera on Wednesday, August 31 at noon in the Enology Building on campus.

Ferrier currently manages wine production at Constellation's largest facility in Madera, California where he is directs the wine production, producing still and sparkling wines. Brands include Cooks, Black Box, and Paul Masson. He has over 17 years of experience in the wine industry including employment in a family-based company, a small international corporation, and the largest wine company in the world. Ferrier received his MS in food science from UC Davis and his BS in chemistry from the University of Washington.

The Department of Viticulture and Enology Seminar Series is held every Wednesday during the fall semester from 12 noon to 1 pm in the Enology Building classroom #102 and is open to the campus community.
