Toner Phone Scam

One of the most popular business phone scams is Printer/Copier Toner. Our toner vendors will never call the departments or customer direct. If you receive a phone call from a Toner company or someone stating that they are our toner supplier, then please hang up the phone on them. These companies will try to get you to agree to receiving over priced toner and/or record you saying the words "yes" or "approve" or "ship" so that they can ship toner that cost $300 to $600 each.

When in doubt about a vendor calling you, before carrying on any conversation, always ask for their company name, their name and phone number to call them back. Legitimate businesses will give you this information for you to call them back or pass this information along to the Procurement Department for a call back.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Brian
