Strategic leader overseeing 4 teams consisting of 10 staff FTE, 30 student staff, and a dotted line to 60 liaisons to lead initiatives for the delivery of computing services for students, staff and faculty.

  • Lead design, implementation, procurement, delivery, management, and support of staff, public, and residential computing infrastructure consisting of over 1600 computers situated over 120 locations across the campus and the greater San Francisco Bay Area
  • Lead IT consulting and field services support for 450+ staff within the libraries
  • Lead design, implementation, delivery and maintenance of networked imaging infrastructure
  • Participate actively on the leadership team supporting emerging trends in the future of teaching and learning, such as maker spaces and flexible learning spaces within classrooms and residences
  • Engage and participate actively on the campus-wide IT leaders committee
  • Engage vendors on enterprise service offerings – helped bring Lynda.com as an enterprise offering; working with Adobe on Creative Cloud and EchoSign enterprise offerings
  • Serve as chair or co-chair for campus-wide communities or practices (IT apps, Qualtrics)
  • *Enhance public computing services to promote student success – currently exploring virtual computer lab offerings; in process of implementing a pilot for a new centralized printing system
  • Support faculty and students with the iPads for Teaching program
  • Support efforts to redesign the high stakes testing environment
  • Oversee strategically a $2M budget
