We are near the end this semester and you may want to get a head start on reflecting on and then re-vamping, reinvigorating or reviewing your Spring 2013 course and course syllabus. This December’s theme is an exciting one: Promoting 21st Century Skills to Enhance Student Engagement and Learning.

Join us at the Syllabus and Course Enhancement in Action Workshop to prepare for Spring 2013. The workshop is scheduled for FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14 from 8:30am-2:30pm in HML 2206, (the last day before finals week). Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Participation will give you time to begin enhancing your course to promote more active student engagement and to update your syllabus before the spring semester begins.

A bonus for your participation is the $100 in professional development funds you may earn if you make your syllabus accessible and evaluate other strategies to promote student engagement through course appropriate pedagogy. Bring a colleague and you can earn an additional $25 in professional development funds!
