April 22-28, 2013

This week literally has flown by with a significant amount of travel!

Congratulations to University High School, which was named the 42nd best high school and 12th best Charter School in the nation by U.S. News and World Report this week. School Head James Bushman, University High faculty and students should be very proud of this accomplishment!

The Fresno State Men's Volleyball Team was named the California State Champions for 2013 by the California Collegiate Volleyball Conference. In addition to five of the players being selected for the national all-star team, Coach Brian Tsukimura, a Biology professor, was named 2013 Coach of the year. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Sigma Chi fraternity for raising upwards of $17,000 for the Children’s Hospital Central California and the Children’s Miracle Network from their 2013 Derby Days philanthropy. Great work to all who were involved!
