Disabled Parking

Fresno State parking lots have clearly designated parking spaces for the disabled.

A valid DMV Placard or disabled license plate, as well as some form of paid parking (semester, annual, summer, or daily parking permit) is required to be displayed.

In accordance with Education Code 67301 (b), visitors of Fresno State displaying a valid disabled placard or license plate are required to obtain and display a complimentary Daily Courtesy Permit. The complimentary permit can be obtained at the Traffic Operations front counter upon verification of visitor status.

Visitors with disabilities who choose to utilize parking meters and timed zones are not required to display evidence of paid parking in addition to their disabled parking credentials.

Vehicles parked illegally in disabled spaces are subject to a $330.00 fine.

Disabled parking stalls are enforced 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

If none of the disabled parking spaces provided are available, persons with disabled parking authorization (visible placard or license plate) may park at a parking meter, without inserting coins, for whatever length of time is needed.
