Fresno anchors a metropolitan area of more than a half-million people in the central San Joaquin Valley. It’s known as the New California for its dynamic economic and population growth. It is distinguished by diversity and its mix of urban attractions, agricultural production and proximity to recreation in nearby mountains and Central Coast beaches.
