Lightboard For Your Online Classroom
What is a Lightboard?
The Lightboard is a tool used for faculty to present short mini-lectures or video tutorials for online and hybrid courses. It consists of a specialized 4’ x 6’ piece of glass and LED lighting that illuminates fluorescent markers used for illustrating on the glass. It is an excellent tool for disciplines such as math and science but can have application in almost any course where drawing and illustration is important. The Lightboard requires videographer support through Academic Technology and is housed in the Henry Madden Library.
