Teaching Fellows Scholarship
The Teaching Fellows program includes an additional cadre of students who receive service-based stipends for early field experience in schools. This is through the Teaching Fellows Scholarship. Services these Teaching Fellows provide include tutoring, mentoring, and after school program assistance. These students are recruited as undergraduates and may be enrolled across a variety of college majors or disciplines. Twenty-five students are selected for the program each year, with a total of just over 250 scholarships awarded, since 1999.
Teaching Fellows at California State University, Fresno blends elements of the successful North Carolina Teaching Fellows and California Mini-Corps programs.
