University Courtyard Move-In Information
As you plan your move to Fresno State, visit the University Courtyard website for information about what to bring to campus, Dining Hall information, fees and payment plans, and much more. 2015 Opening Events are tentative.
2015 Opening Events
Friday, August 21– 9:00am: Check-in Begins – All around University Courtyard
Friday, August 21– 4:30pm: Opening BBQ – Front of Dining Hall
- All residents and their families are invited to our Opening BBQ dinner. It’s free with great food and a presentation by University officials at 5:00 pm followed by a special performance from the Bulldog Marching Band.
Friday, August 21 - 8:00pm: Color Games Opening Dance – Atrium Lawn*
- Come meet your new community members and earn Color Games points for your hall. DJ K-Rich will be playing all night long.

Saturday, August 22 – 9:00am: Check-ins continue – Atrium
Sunday, August 23 - 1:00pm: Watermelon games – Ponderosa / Aspen Lawn*
- One of the highlights of Color Games. Play some fun games and then grub on fresh watermelon.

Sunday, August 23 - 9:00pm: Casino Night – North Gym 118*
- Walk the red carpet and feel like a Las Vegas High Roller. Play blackjack, poker and other casino games. Meet our special guest dealers and win big.

Monday, August 24 - 11:00am: Information fair – East Side of Dining Hall*
- Earn points for your hall and meet vendors and clubs from all over Fresno. Be sure to enter prize drawings while you’re there.

Monday, August 24 - 3:00pm: Convocation – Save Mart Center
- Meet faculty, staff, fellow new students and get in the Bulldog spirit at Convocation. We want to ensure all new Fresno State students are welcomed to their new home. TRIPLE POINTS.
Monday, August 24 - 4:00pm: Convocation After Party – Student Recreation Center
- After Convocation there will be a huge after party including music, games and free food. Come for the food and stay for the fun.

"Once moving into the dorms, stay there for the weekend rather than head back home. Keep your door open, while in your dorm room. This allows others on your same floor to say hi and introduce themselves. Hang out in the lobby (first floor), you'll meet others in your same residence hall."
