VPP Services Peer Theater
The Violence Prevention Project Peer Educators have developed a Peer Theater presentation, where they enact interactive scenarios which depict what intimate partner violence, stalking, and sexual assault look like. The Peer Educators also plan awareness and activist events on campus by collaborating with other clubs/organizations. Training for the Peer Educators has been provided by California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA) & Fresno County's kNOw MORE project.
The Peer Educators are also involved with Students Providing Empowerment Advocacy & Education (S.P.E.A.K.) Club. The advisor of the club is Dr. Bernadette Muscat, Associate Professor of the Criminology Department.
