VPP Services Peer Counseling
Violence Prevention Project Peer Counselors provide students, staff, and faculty with advocacy, legal options, and referrals.
Each Peer Counselor for the project goes through extensive training, including the Women's Resource Center's Peer Counseling And Group Facilitator Training as well as forty hours of training from the Marjaree Mason Center and/or Rape Counseling Services.
Peer Counseling is available in the Women's Resource Center during normal office hours. Walk-ins are welcome, or feel free to call 278-5696 for an appointment if you would like to speak to a Peer Counselor.
If you want information about becoming a Peer Counselor with the project, please give us a call at (559)278-5696 or drop by and see us.
