Club Sports Council

The Club Sports Council is the student governing body of the Club Sports program. The council is made up of student representatives elected from each Club Sports team to serve a one year term. There may only be one representative nominated per club to sit on the council, but meetings are open for any sport club participant to attend.

Council members are advised by Club Sports staff as well as Student Involvement, and are responsible for the following items:

• Allocation of IRA funds
• Allocation of Special Request funds
• Consultation on new club proposals and reviews of team members behavior
• Consultation of program policy and practices
• Advocacy of Club Sports issues and challenges
