Mission
The mission of SupportNet is to work cohesively with faculty, students and student services to increase student success and retention. This will be accomplished by providing assistance to referred students enrolled in basic mathematics, English, reading and selected high-failure courses who may be having difficulty adjusting to college or finding the right resources on campus to assist them.
Faculty are encouraged to contact SupportNet to identify students who would benefit from direct outreach by the SupportNet staff. Students may be struggling academically, are chronically absent from class or perhaps being disruptive to the learning environment. Contacting students early greatly increases their chances for success in class and at Fresno State.
In support of the Strategic Plan for Excellence III: 2006-2011, SupportNet provides an outlet to promote the success of all students.
