Scholarship Application
The 2012/2013 scholarship application deadline for California State University, Fresno was February 28, 2012. However, this year there is a late application period for those students who missed this deadline. Effective March 1, 2012, students can submit a late application for consideration as an alternate candidate for unused scholarship funds. This late application period will end on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 12pm.
We do not distribute paper applications and will only accept the online scholarship application for consideration of all institutional scholarship awards.
Instructions
To successfully submit your "Late" application
you will need
- Windows Internet Explorer is required to ensure proper operation of our scholarship application. This application may not function properly if other internet browsers are used.
- California State University, Fresno Student I.D. Number. Scholarships are available to new and continuing students who have been issued a Student I.D. number from California State University, Fresno.
- Permanent mailing address and phone number within the U.S.A.
- Grade Point Average Verification Form. If you are not enrolled at California State University, Fresno, the Scholarship Office must receive official verification of your cumulative grade point average from your last institution attended. The Scholarship Selection Committees reserve the right not to consider any application if the G.P.A. can not be verified. Please submit the GPA Verification Form no later than one week after your application has been submitted.
- Personal statements. You will be prompted to enter a personal statement about yourself. The first statement on the application is to give you an opportunity to tell us important things about yourself that are not addressed or apparent in the application. The second statement is regarding your career objectives. If you have your narrative statements already prepared on a word processor, you can cut-and-paste your statements on the application.
