Transcripts

When to Submit

Transcripts from all colleges attended are required at various times through the application and admission process.

At time of application

Send final, official transcripts from all campuses where you have FINISHED taking classes. For example, if you were enrolled at College of the Sequoias but are now in your final semester at Fresno City, you can send the College of the Sequoias transcript as soon as you apply.

Fall Applicants who are enrolling in Spring classes at the Community College

Do NOT send a transcript at the time of application if you apply from September to December for the following Fall semester. Instead, wait until you are enrolled in your Spring classes (usually in January), and then request a transcript be sent. Many schools offer the option to indicate on your order form to "Send when enrolled classes post", so you may be able to take care of this in advance. If you submit a transcript from your current school WITHOUT Spring in-progess courses, we will not process your application until a current one is received.

You will then send a FINAL transcript of all courses completed in the summer once your spring grades post. If you are enrolling in summer classes, you will need to send a 3rd, additional transcript once these classes are completed.

Fall Applicants who are NOT enrolling in Spring or Summer classes at the Community College

Do NOT send a transcript at the time of application if you apply from September to December for the following Fall semester. Instead, wait until your Fall grades post to your transcript, then send them to Fresno State.
