Welcome New Bulldogs!

DOG DAYS Freshman Orientation is a one-day program designed to welcome you to the Fresno State community. Attending Orientation is an important step in making the transition to life as a Bulldog, and is the best way to acclimate yourself as a new Fresno State student. DOG DAYS gives students the opportunity to meet with an academic counselor, meet with a major advisor and receive priority registration. It is also an opportunity to learn about all of the policies and procedures that are unique to Fresno State. First-time freshman who participate in DOG DAYS encounter fewer problems, are better prepared and usually have a better overall experience at Fresno State.

Reserve your spot early, dates will fill up quickly: Dates of Orientation

If you are interested in what will be going on, check the orientation schedule to see what your day will look like.

Incoming freshmen for the Fall 2012 who still need to take the ELM or EPT test should take the May, 2012 test at the latest to ensure you can register for classes at DOG DAYS. Students who take the June date may not be able to register if scores are not received by the university in time.

If applicable, ELM/EPT placement tests must be taken and scores received before you can register for classes. For more information regarding ELM/EPT tests you can visit the Testing Services website.

There is a lot of information to learn at orientation. Guests & Parents are welcome to attend. Students must be present for the entire orientation in order to be cleared for registration. No exceptions.
