About The College

This college is all about exploring the depth, breadth and complexity of the human experience through cultural diversity, history and contemporary studies. And, in so doing, its students mature into professionals and leaders who want to bring a positive influence to their
communities.

Faculty members are not only fully involved in teaching students but they are busy with research, publishing, consulting and serving as experts in media interviews. These activities just further enhance students’ knowledge.

Students also are engaged in internships and other opportunities that bolster their courses. Where else can anthropology students participate in archeological fieldwork? Or criminology students ride along with police
officers and have the opportunity to become reserve peace officers? Or political science students observe local government in action?

The college’s graduates have forged respected careers as judges, elected officials, law enforcement officials, bankers, teachers, administrators and other professions that even include a recent U.S. Secretary of the Treasury.
