The Learning Center employs over 80 students each semester to be front desk staff, tutors, and Supplemental Instruction Leaders. We are dedicated to providing students with meaningful opportunities that will help them grow academically, personally and professionally.
Learning Center Graduate Intern
The Learning Center rotational internship offers graduate students pursuing their masters in Student Affairs and College Counseling an opportunity to gain experiences in the four programs or services of the Learning Center (SupportNet, Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction and GradesFirst). Interns will gain academic advising skills, coordinating student training, understanding how a support program works and more.
Supplement Instruction (SI) Positions | Fall 2019
SI offers one hour study sessions two to three times a week for students enrolled in historically difficult classes. During SI sessions, students are encouraged to work with their peers from class and their SI Leader to develop successful study strategies, exchange creative ideas, gain a better understanding of the course material, and improve their overall grade. As an SI Leader, you will be given the opportunity to lead your students to academic success!

Tutor Positions | Fall 2019
Tutors assist students with homework, projects, and exam reviews, at their pace, by finding conceptual learning opportunities. Tutors use questions, activities, and demos to involve students in owning the material. To apply for a tutoring position submit the Learning Center application found below.
