Dog Days Fee Waiver
Dog Days: New Student Orientation provides fee waivers for the $70 student fee. Students who have completed the steps below may be eligible for a fee waiver for the Dog Days fee. The application below does not apply to any other fee waivers including, but not limited to, any waivers relating to the Early Start program.
1. Have a completed FAFSA or Dream Act Application on file with the Financial Aid office at Fresno State. In addition to a completed FAFSA/ Dream Act Application, students should also have all additional supporting paperwork turned in to Financial Aid.
2. Have a calculated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of 500 or less.
3. Completed the fee waiver application by 5:00 p.m. on April 11, 2014.
a. NO late applications will be accepted due to the processing time.
Those interested in applying for the fee waiver should complete the online application no later than 5:00pm Friday, April 11, 2014 to be considered. In order to apply for the Dog Days Fee Waiver, students must register for an orientation session prior to submitting their application.
Once you have registered to attend Dog Days you can fill out the fee waiver application and submit it electronically, by mail or in person. The Dog Days office will then contact you should we need additional information.
Do not pay your orientation fee while your fee waiver application is being processed. Any payment for student orientation fees will nullify any fee waiver application.
If awarded a fee waiver, students are still responsible for paying any guest fees prior to the May 1, 2014 deadline. Failure to do so may result in a student's admission to the university being rescinded.
The fee waiver application period has passed. No new fee waiver applications will be accepted.
There are a limited number of fee waivers available.
