Dog Days Fee Deferment

Dog Days: New Student Orientation allows eligible students the opportunity to defer the payment for their Dog Days: New Student Orientation until Financial Aid disperses in the Fall semester.

     1. Have a completed FAFSA or Dream Act Application on file with the Financial Aid office at Fresno State. In addition to a completed FAFSA/ Dream Act Application, students should also have all additional supporting paperwork turned in to Financial Aid.

     2. Have a calculated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of zero.

     3. Requested a fee waiver through the Dog Days reservation system by no later than by 5:00 p.m. on April 10, 2015

          a. NO late requests will be accepted due to the processing time.

There are a limited number of fee waivers available and fee waivers are awarded on a first-come basis. Students interested in the fee waiver should apply early to ensure their request is made prior to the fee waiver reaching capacity. Once the fee waivers are awarded and the system reaches capacity no more fee waiver applications will be accepted.

Those interested in applying for the fee waiver should complete the online request no later than 5:00pmFriday, April 10, 2015 to be considered. The fee waiver process will close on Friday, April 10, 2015 or when the fee waiver reaches capacity, whichever comes first.

In order to apply for the Dog Days Fee Waiver, students must register for an orientation session and request the fee waiver through the Dog Days reservation system.

Once you have registered to attend Dog Days you must request a fee waiver by selecting the option on the final page of the Dog Days reservation screen. If approved, a DDD positive indicator will appear on your Student Center.

Do not pay your orientation fee while your fee waiver application is being processed. Any payment for student orientation fees will nullify any fee waiver request.

If awarded a fee waiver, students are still responsible for paying any guest fees prior to the May 1, 2015 deadline. Failure to do so may result in a student's admission to the university being rescinded.
