Community Service Scholarship Program

You can earn money while helping the community through our Community Service Scholarship Program (CSSP).

Community Service Scholarship Program (CSSP)

This program is available to fund students who volunteer with participating nonprofit agencies, schools or government organizations in the four county service area (Fresno, Kings, Madera, or Tulare) served by Fresno State. Upon completion of 150 community service hours, students earn $1,500 scholarships and 3 units of credit. In some cases, organizations seek students for 75 hours where students earn $750 scholarships and 1 unit of credit.

How to Participate:

First read information about the requirements for the CSSP by clicking on the program's web page above.

Then, if you are interested in reviewing current positions in this Program, go online to Career Development Center's home page, click on the HireFresnoState Student log-in link; create an account/log-in; scroll over the Job Search tab and click on Job Search from the pull-down menu; under Filter Categories, select Job Type; click on Community Service Scholarship Program; and, lastly, click Update. You will see a list of available positions. Just follow instructions on each position to apply.

The positions in HireFresnoState are the only open positions available for this program.
