Community Service Scholarship Programs
Students can earn money while helping the community through one of our two service programs. The Community Service Scholarship Program (CSSP) and the Community Service Scholarship Program: Future Scholars Component (CSSPFS) exist to help students earn and learn!
This program is available to fund students who volunteer with participating nonprofit agencies, schools or government organizations in the four county service area (Fresno, Kings, Madera, or Tulare) served by Fresno State. Upon completion of 150 community service hours, students earn $1,500 scholarships and 3 units of credit. In some cases, organizations seek students for 75 hours where students earn $750 scholarships and 1 unit of credit.
