The Dr. Pete Mehas Memorial Grant is a one-time funding opportunity that allows departments within the eight colleges or schools at Fresno State to apply for a grant worth up to $5,000. The grants are to be expended exclusively on technology or equipment that is necessary to help students succeed at Fresno State.
The application for the Dr. Pete Mehas Memorial Grant is now available on the ASI website. Applications will be accepted at the ASI Business Office in USU 317 through March 7, 2014 and must be sponsored by the student Senate representative for respective colleges.
Planning an event for your club but need funding? ASI provides supplemental event funding for recognized student clubs and organizations to hold on-campus events that are open to all Fresno State students.
Need a secure way to manage your club’s finances? ASI provides on-campus bank accounts to clubs and organizations at no cost!
Do you have an event or program that goes beyond the normal classroom experience? Instructionally Related Activity grants are issued to campus departments and programs to pay for a wide variety of activities. Note: ASI handles the paperwork for these grants, but allocations are made through the Department of Academic Resources. IRA applications for the 2014-2015 time period are due March 7, 2014 to the ASI Business Office in USU 317
If you are a student involved in research, consider applying for an Educational Research and Project Grant (rGrant) from ASI! rGrants may be used to pay for many of the costs associated with conducting research, including supplies, resources, and thesis binding. Undergraduate and Graduate rGrant Applications are due Tuesday, April 1, 2014 to the ASI Business Office in USU 317.
