Steps for Readmission

An undergraduate student who has been academically disqualified from Fresno State and is seeking readmission to the university must reapply at Cal State Apply. We recommend you contact the University Advising Center at (559) 278-1787 to meet with an Academic Counselor to review the Steps for Readmission.

Students who were academically disqualified from Fresno State are not eligible to reapply for admissions for at least two semesters following their disqualification. The following criteria must be completed to be eligible for readmission:

Eligibility:

1. Students must complete all lower division General Education (GE) requirements.

2. If all lower division GE and lower division major courses have been met, a student must complete a minimum of 6 units towards degree progress that are major or career related.

3. Students must demonstrate academic success in courses taken through Fresno State Open University or any other regionally accredited institutions. A student’s overall transfer work after disqualification must be at least a 2.50 GPA and the student must be in good academic standing at the last institution attended.

The next application period is October 1, 2018- February 1, 2019 for Fall 2019. For further information regarding admissions criteria for academically disqualified undergraduate students, please visit Admissions & Recruitment at http://fresnostate.edu/studentaffairs/are/returning.html.
