Fresno Crisis Response Network

Unfortunately, crises happen regularly, and these crises are too often compounded by poverty.

This Page is a beginning place to build a Fresno Crisis Response Network.

The purpose of the Fresno Crisis Response network is to provide an established, thoughtful, quick, means of responding to tragedies in the Fresno community.

The primary purpose of this website will be to provide information on how the public can help when our community members face tragedies. The website will also sponsor networking among organizations seeking to be a part of the Fresno Crisis Response network, and a means to publicize the good work done by your organization.

We would like to set up a network of community and student groups that could be quickly energized when crises emerge. This page will publicize this network, and we will set up a listserve to communicate among members of the network. Eventually, we hope through coordinated action and thoughtful reflection, that we will be able to develop a model of key behaviors needed to properly enact the crisis response network to effectively and efficiently respond when a crisis does arise.
