The Department of Criminology at Fresno State provides undergraduate and graduate education in Criminology for students planning professional careers in the criminal justice field. The program is diversified and integrated, reflecting the wide range of employment opportunities in the field, including direct service and administration in Corrections, Forensic Behavioral Sciences, Law Enforcement, and Victimology.

Get involved! The Department of Criminology has student organizations attached to the major. Lambda Alpha Epsilon (Phi Omega Alpha chapter) is a unique Professional Co-Ed Criminology Fraternity. Alpha Phi Sigma (The National Criminal Justice Honor's society) is the nationally recognized honor society for students in the field of Criminal Justice and Criminology. Both of these student organizations attend academic field trips and conferences that support their organization's mission and goals.
