The Psychology Department Petitions Process

The Psychology Department's Petitions Process happens before every Fall and Spring semester, in order to help students progress toward graduation if they cannot obtain a seat in a needed class through standard registration procedures.

Below, please find the dates for the upcoming SPRING 2024 semester:

• Submission period. (Spring 2024: Jan 3 2024 at 12am until Jan 10 2024 at 11:59pm Pacific Time)
  • Students fill out the petition form
• Evaluation period (Spring 2024: Jan 11 - Jan 16)
  • Committee evaluates all requests
• Notification period (Spring 2024: Begins Jan 16)
  • Department emails you with a permission number
