Strategic Plan 2022-2026

We are launching a new strategic planning process aimed at further positioning Fresno State to achieve and sustain the highest levels of excellence.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a spring 2020 effort to develop a Fresno State 2021-2025 Strategic Plan was paused. Instead, we extended the existing plan by one year.

Through the new strategic planning process, together we will engage in a collaborative and inclusive assessment of our great University’s highest priorities and determine the goals and strategies we will steer by as a campus community over the next five years.

I have invited a group of faculty, staff, student representatives, community members, and administrators to form a Strategic Planning RFP Committee. I am grateful committee members have accepted the charge to craft a request for proposal and oversee hiring a consultant who will help guide the strategic planning process. We will share new developments with you as the committee progresses in its work.

I look forward to the dynamic discussions that lie ahead for us as a campus community fueled by your creative contributions and diverse input.
