The College of Health and Human Services trains the majority of the health and human social/service professionals in Central California and all majors hold national and state accreditations. We provide cutting-edge research in health and human services projects under the direction of highly acclaimed faculty and research staff.

Being the largest college at Fresno State, our goal is to provide excellent student support services and facilities including state-of-the art labs to ensure academic success:

*The Nursing Resources Lab – The latest in technology is featured and this is one of the most advanced training laboratories in California and it’s at Fresno State

*Speech & Hearing Clinic – The speech and hearing clinic provides services to the community of all ages with a variety of different communication problems or disorders

*Human Performance Lab – The Human Performance Laboratory in the Kinesiology Department provides state-of-the-art equipment to assess and evaluate human movement

*Gait and Balance Clinic – A clinical research and training center for the evaluation and treatment of persons with gait, balance, and mobility disorders.

* Our newly remodeled College of Health and Human Services computer laboratory is designed to maximum learning opportunities using high-speed internet connectivity, state-of-the-art technology and provides supervised access to students during designated hours.

*Our College of Health and Human Services student resource center provides undergraduate advising, admissions support and general education counseling.

* The Central California Center for Health and Human Services (CCCHHS) brings together university resources (faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students) and community professionals, agencies and organizations to improve the health and welfare of communities located within Central California. Since 1996, CCCHHS programs have attracted over $20 million in external funding. Opportunities are available for student internships, training and stipends.
