Learn more about professional development opportunities available to tone up your leadership muscle. Six speakers will share their experience with leadership programs:
Fresno State Vice President Cynthia Matson and Dr. Peggy Trueblood — Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) provides leadership and management development for women in higher education administration.
Fresno State Vice President Frank Lamas — The National Association of Student Personnel Administrator (NASPA) strives to be the principal source of leadership, scholarship, professional development, and advocacy for student affairs profession worldwide.
Fresno State Dean Jody Hironaka-Juteau — Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc. (LEAP) works to “grow leaders” within Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities across the world.
Fresno State Professor Virginia Rondero Hernandez — The American Council of Education (ACE) Norcal network promotes the professional development of women leaders from colleges and universities in northern California.
Pamela Hemann, Executive Director — Leadership California is a network of accomplished women dedicated to advancing the leadership role of women in public policy, business, and social issues.
President Nalini Jeyapalan, PhD, University of Cambridge, will announce the California State University, Fresno Women’s Association first Outstanding Leaders Awards for faculty and staff who have demonstrated professional achievement and exceptional leadership in working for campus improvement within their department, school or college, and university.
