Library Resources in BlackBoard
Two tutorials, Finding Articles and Finding Books, are available in Blackboard and give an overview of library services as well as teach students how to search both the online catalog and electronic databases. The workshops are located in the Links box of Blackboard, which is the first screen students see when logging in. These workshops are available for all students with access to Blackboard and include a certificate of completion that can be turned into the instructor.
If you are teaching Communication 3, 4, 5, 7, 8; Criminology 1; English 5A, 5B, 10; or a Lower-Division Course needing a basic Library orientation, your students will be receiving instruction through these tutorials.
